At Privamed, physicians are not participating in the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ). They will not take your health insurance card for their fees. You will have to pay directly to the secretariat the fees according to the medical fee schedule in effect. A receipt will be delivered on site

Your choice to consult a doctor outside RAMQ does not imply that you must do the tests that will be prescribed in the private sector. You can choose to consult a specialist in the public sector or in private. This is also true for radiology, biology, etc..

The medical practice is governed by the code of ethics of the medical profession. All physicians at the clinic are members in good standing of the College des Medecins du Quebec and they are therefore committed to provide care according to the established standards, regardless of the mode of remuneration.
