Dr Joyce Valois completed her doctorate in medicine at the University of Montreal, then in family medicine in 1984. She was the recipient of a medal from the University of Montreal in recognition from her peers in 1993 and a fellow in family medicine since 2001.
She began her practice in Longueuil by working at Pierre Boucher Hospital in the emergency room and in hospital, and from the beginning she supported patient care in practice.
